If there is an OHV trail in the tonto national forest that your club loves, adopt it!
TRĀL manages the Tonto National Forest motorized trail adoption program. Off-highway vehicle clubs and organizations can adopt a motorized trail and then monitor its condition.
Adopting organizations are expected to:
- Complete at least 1 workday (2 recommneded) per year to inspect the trail or area and conduct the following
- Keep the trail/area free of litter
- Brush the trail/area to allow access
- Report any issues beyond the scope of this agreement to TRĀL’s Adopt-a-trail coordinator
- Conduct a safety talk with volunteers before each work event
- Report volunteer hours to TRĀL adopt-a-trail coordinator for each work event
- Represent your organization, TRĀL and the Forest service in a positive, professional and respectful manner
